Ronda Rousey defeated Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam to win the RAW women's Championship on Monday. She won the match by submission using an armbar to be the first athlete to win UFC and WWE women's title.

Rousey celebrated her win with Bella Twins and her partner Natalya at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Natalya is the daughter of a former wrestler Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart who passed away about a week before.

This was her fourth WWE match.

After the fight, Rousey said:

"I'm so happy but it also feels like a great responsibility is on me now. Before I could just turn up and have a good time. This is not just an accessory, this is a torch which has been passed down from generation to generation. So many women have put their bodies on the line for this thing I'm holding right now."

"I'm going to be putting my body and my heart and soul into this."

The former Bantamweight champion later expressed her happiness of becoming the champion and said she had not thought she would win the title so earlier.

Rousey quitted UFC and joined WWE in January and made her debut in Wrestlemania against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
