Scoring a season-high six points in 14 minutes against Omaha, he ended the freshman season 2017/18 appearing in six games. Starting in 28 of 32 games for the team Nembhard was ranked second on the team in his sophomore season.

Averaging 4.4 points and 2.1 rebounds, he played in 36 of 37 matches at the 2018/19 season. In 2020, he recorded a season-high nine assists against Texas A&M and West Virginia.  His contract with the club will end this season in 2021, and he will be looking for the  2021 NBA draft.
