Philipe Lins is a well-known Brazilian professional mixed martial artist. He has been fighting in professional events since 2005. Lins fights in the Ultimate Fighting Championship under the Heavyweight division. Philipe won the 2018 professional Fighters League heavyweight tournament. Lins is also the black belt holder in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

A Decade Long Career

Philipe made his professional debut in August 2005 in the match against Maurilio de Souza da Silva and won the game via TKO. He fought in four matches until September 2006 and won all of them. The boxer took a break from MMA fighting and spent his next five seasons in his home country. As per sources, Philipe was undefeated in his home country. Lins made his comeback in July 2011 and was ranked among the best-prospect in the Bellator. 

Philipe lost his first professional match in July 2014 against Kelly Anundson via TKO at Bellator 122. He had ups and downs until 2017 and made his Heavyweight debut in PFL 4. In the next two matches, Lins won the quarterfinal, semi-final and then reached the 2018 PFL Heavyweight Tournament final. He eventually won the tournament against Josh Copeland

Lins made his UFC debut in May 2020 against Andrei Arlovski and lost the game via unanimous decision. In June 2020, He lost his second match of the UFC against Tanner Boser. Philipe was set to face Ovince Saint Preuix in the UFC Fight Night 197, but some changes need to be made.
