Patrick Farrell is an American basketball player who formerly played for the College basketball for Villanova Wildcats men's basketball. The 24 years old is one of the hottest prospects in National Basketball Association (NBA) and was first drafted by Villanova in 2009. Farrell has had an average of 13.2 points per game and also with very good rebound reflexes is yet to be drafted by a major NBA clubs.

Early Life of Patrick Farrell

Patrick Farrell was born in Rockville Centre, New York on April 22, 1994. His parents are Edward and Ellen Farrell and he has two siblings Emily and Ryan. From an early age, Patrick used to play basketball and wanted to follow in the footsteps of his idols like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James.

Ferrell standing with the height of 6.5 feet, with his three-pointer skill, later earned two varsity letters from Chaminade High School, Mineola, New York.

Farrell got coached by Jim Quinn, his high school basketball coach and as senior in 2011-12 he posted double-doubles in the first eight games of his senior campaign. Patrick went on to score average 13.2 points and 10 rebounds per game in the 2011-12 season for his high school Chaminade.

A member of the National Honor Society from 2009-12. Patrick also completed his Finance major in the Villanova School of Business. A valuable walk-on who was a four-year member of a senior class that established a new program record for victories by any class.

Career

In 2012-13, Farrell got to show his performance in three games over the course of the season as a reserve and recorded the first point of his college career in the final minute of a 68-40 win over USF on February 9. The same season he got the chance to play for the final of the 2K Sports Classic at Madison Square Garden against Alabama.

The 2013-14 season saw Farrell appeared in eight games during the campaign. Farrell appeared in 16 games for a total of 30 minutes and scored six points for the season of 2015-16.  He was very good hitting 3 pointers with an average of 2-of-5 from beyond the 3-point arc.

Farrell appeared victorious in four NCAA Tournament scoring the first NCAA points of his career with a 3-point field goal in an 86-56 victory over UNC Asheville on March 18 at Barclays Centre. 

In 2015-16, he made his final college appearance in the 95-51 triumph over Oklahoma in the national semifinals on April 2 at NRG Stadium in Houston. Farrell started playing regularly in 2015-16 Big East season with a win of 83-62 and 86-59 over Depaul on March 1, 2015, and February 9, 2016, respectively. 

On December 31, Farrell scored a 3 point shot at the final minute of the game and won the match with 95-94 points over No. 6 Xavier at the Pavilion.

 Currently, Patrick Farrell is a free unrestricted agent and being a professional basketball player, has yet to start in NBA playoffs, as he hasn't been drafted.
