Aguilar also played for San Luis of the Mexican Primera Division and then he started playing for Arsenal de Sarandi in Argentine Primera.
Aguilar started playing temporarily for Club Tijuana in 2012 and played in 20 matches during the Apertura tournament in which he defeated Toluca in the final and even scored one goal.

Pablo Aguilar got a ten-game suspension in the Copa Mx round-of-16 match against Tijuana on 18 December 2013 when he headbutted referee Fernando Hernandez. The referee’s association protested against the punishment and the ten-game suspension was changed to one year-long ban from any official football activity.
