Persepolis

On 2nd June 2012, Khanzadeh signed a three-year contract with Persepolis. On 16th September 2012, he made his debut for The Reds, as a substitute against Naft Tehran. Following his impressive games for his side, fans named him Persepolis’ Raphael Varane.  

On 18th November 2013, he was loaned out to Zob Ahan until the end of 2013-14 season, where he played in fifteen games.

 Before the start of 2013-14 season, he returned to his parent club.

Foolad

In July 2015, he arrived at Foolad. He played a season for the club, appearing in 11 matches without scoring a single goal.

Siah Jamegan

The following season, Khanzadeh switched to Siah Jamegan on a free transfer. In his 1 year stint with the club, he scored 1 goal in 20 matches.

Khanzadeh has represented his native country, Iran both at the junior and senior level, playing at various tournaments.

From 2006 to 2008, he played for Iran U17 national team and from 2008 to 2011, he represented Iran U20 national team.

In May 2012, Khanzadeh earned a call-up to the Iran national team to play a match against Albania, but he did not play in the game. Further, he was selected in Iran’s 30-man provisional squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
