A Serbian professional footballer Milan Rodic plays for the Serbian club Red Star Belgrade as a left back. He first started his professional career just at the age of 18 and played for OFK Beograd

 

Rodic first made his international debut in a friendly match against Chile. Recently, he was also named in Serbia's preliminary squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. 

Early Life

Milan Rodic was born on 2 April 1991 in Drvar, SFR Yugoslavia. Rodic was very much attracted to football since he was a child. He used to play in the local area teams.

His dedication and dream of being a professional footballer got him picked for OFK Beograd on 26 April 2009, against FK Partizan just at the age of 18. After two and a half year, he was named left-back in Sportal's ideal team of Round 26 in the 2011-12 Serbian SuperLiga

Club Career 

Rodic made his appearances in many clubs. In a very short period of time, he got to fame and name through these clubs. 

Zenit St. Petersburg

Rodic signed a contract with Zenit St. Petersburg on 31 January 2013 after finishing the Serbian SuperLiga from OFK Beograd. After Rodic deployed in the 85th minute as a substitute for Sergei by Luciano Spalletti, and he appeared against Liverpool in the 2012-13 UEFA Europa League

Later, Rodic ended up playing only five matches for Zenit. After completion of his loan career, he moved to FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod and Zenit's reserve team.  

Krylia Sovetov 

Rodic as a free agent signed another club Krylia Sovetov in August 2015. After performing for two seasons, Rodic.

After two years in Krylia Sovetov, Milan appreciated the love from his fans and admitted that he was very happy to play for Krylia, but later he expressed that he missed his family in Serbia. 

Red Star Belgrade

After getting out of the team Krylia, Rodic signed a three-year contract with Serbian side Red Star Belgrade on 21 July 2017. As of now, Red Star reportedly paid €250,000 to Krylia Sovetov for Rodic's transfer in their club.

International Career

Rodich has represented his country in many international stages as well. He first made his international debut with the Serbian national under-21 football team playing against Sweden's U-21 team on 6 June 2011. After five years, Rodic got his first call-up to the senior Serbia squad for a friendly match against Russia on 5 June 2016.

Recently, Rodic was named in Serbia's preliminary squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup held in Russia. He made his first international debut in a friendly match against Chile playing as a substitute for Aleksandar Kolarov in the 80th-minute match on 4 June
