Moubarak Mbark Boussoufa or famously known as Moubarak Boussoufa is a Dutch-born Moroccan professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for United Arab Emirates club, Al Jazira club, and Morroccon National Team.

He has also played for clubs such as Gent, Anderlecht, Anzhi Makhachkala and Lokomotiv Moscow.

The Moroccan midfielder has won the Belgian Golden Shoe in 2006 and 2010 and was awarded the Belgian footballer of the Year in 2005/06, 2008/09 and 2009/10.

Boussoufa was the prominent member of Anderlecht team that went on to win the Belgian Cup in 2007 /08.

He later moved to Russia and signed with the Russian team, Anzhi Makhachkala in 2011 and later on signed with fellow Russian football club, FC Lokomotiv Moscow in 2013 and was the part of the team that went on to win the Russian Cup in 2015.

Boussoufa was transferred back to his old Belgian club, Gent in 2016 season as a part of the loan deal.

He is currently playing for  UAE football club, AI Jazira with whom he signed a two-year contract in the summer of 2016.

He opted to play for Morrocco instead of Netherlands and made his full international debut against the USA on May  2006.
