Mark Daniel Milligan or simply known as Mark Milligan is a professional football player who plays as a defensive midfielder for Australian national team and Saudi Arabian professional football club, AL Ahli.

He has also played for clubs such as Chinese club, Shanghai Greenland Shenhua Football Club, Japanese club, JEF United Chiba and UAE based club, Baniyas Club. He has played for the youth team of the Australian team in their U20 and U23 and made his senior international debut for Australia in 2006.

Mark Milligan’s  Career

Milligan started his senior playing career with the Australian soccer club, Northern Suit in 2002. And after which he joined Blacktown City in 2004. The midfielder then joined Sydney FC in 2005 and was the part of the team that won the A-League Championship in 2005/06.

After playing for Newcastle Jets in 2008/09, he moved to China and joined Shanghai Shenhua in 2009 and was later transferred to Japanese football club, JEF United Chiba in 2010.

While playing for the team, he was loaned to Australian club, Melbourne Victory in 2012.

He signed a permanent deal with Melbourne Victory in 2012 and was the part of a soccer team that went on to win the A-League Championship and Premiership in 2014/15.
