Barcelona has been linked with the move of Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann to Nou Camp since the start of the summer transfer. The deal is still in confusion as the Frenchman has not been able to decide whether to join Barcelona or to stay in Spain's capital.
With all the rumors surrounding the transfer Barcelona star Lionel Messi has expressed his desire to play alongside Griezmann labeling him as a "great player". Barcelona are desperately wanting to sign him but his future is still in doubt and would be making his decision ahead of the World Cup as he revealed.

In an interview with Mundo Deportivo, Messi told:
"I have always said it. It is easy to get along with great players and Griezmann is one of the best, he is going through an exceptional time in his career.
Griezmann is not a 100% Barça player but obviously the more quality we have the better. We want to be the best team in the world so we want to get the best players in the world and then it’s the boss’ problem."
Barcelona already have a depth in the forward line with the likes of Messi, Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho, and Ousmane Dembele. With the addition of Griezmann in the team, there will be huge competition to make the place in the starting line up.
