Lionel Messi in Contact with Pep Guardiola; Is he Planning to Move to Manchester City?

Following a poor campaign at Camp Nou, Barcelona captain Lionel Messi has demanded a transfer request from the club. The Argentine forward, who has spent his entire career at the Nou Camp recently told the board to let him leave the boyhood club on Tuesday. 

It was revealed that the 6-time Balon d'Or winner who enjoyed arguably the finest years of his career under Pep Guardiola, has talked to his former boss and discussed about his possibility to make a move to Manchester City. Pep is the mastermind behind creating Messi in false 9 positions and the two had a very good relationship while the Spaniard was at Barca. 

While several other clubs have started negotiations to sign the Argentine, Spanish outlet Radio Catalunya, reported that Messi has talked to the former boss about his transfer to England. The pair who enjoyed illustrious success together between 2008-2012 at Barcelona reportedly talked about reunion in the Etihad. They went on to win two Champions League trophies and three La Liga titles during that time while the  Argentine had several individual titles in his name.

Meanwhile, he other Spanish website SPORT reported that Manchester United and PSG have also started their negotiations. The Argentine could reunite with his former teammate Neymar with the Champions League finalists and form a sensational front three duo along with Kylian Mbappe

Manchester United have also contacted his representatives and his father to discuss the transfer.
