Landers Nolley II is an American college basketball Shooting guard / Small forward signed to the Memphis Tigers of the American Athletic Conference (AAC). Before, he played for the Virginia Tech Hokies.

Atlanta, Georgia native, Landers Nolley II was born on 5th March 2000, under the star sign Pisces. The twenty-one years old holds an American nationality and is of Afro-American ethnic background.

High School Career & College Career

Nolley enrolled at Curie Metropolitan High School in Chicago. There he averaged 17 points per game as well as helped his team win a Class 4A state championship as sophomore season. For the junior season, he was transferred to Langston Hughes High School, where he averaged 25 points and seven rebounds per game in his first year.  team. He scored 26 points to lead the team to its first Georgia 6A state title. As a senior, he averaged 31 points, eight rebounds, and three assists per game, helping his team win the Georgia 6A championship for the 2nd time.

Nolley earned Atlanta Journal-Constitution Player of the Year and USA Today Georgia Player of the Year. Overall, he finished his high school career with an all-time leading scorer. A consensus four-star recruit and top-100 prospect in the 2018 class, he committed to play to Virginia Tech.

Due to th NCAA reviewing his academic eligibility, he sat on the bench in his freshman season. Nolley scored 30 points including four three-pointers in his debut for the Hokies, a 67–60 win over Clemson. He concluded the regular season, earning the ACC All-Freshman Team, and was an Honorable Mention All-Conference. On April 20, 2020, Nolley announced that he would continue his collegiate career playing for Memphis via Twitter.

Landers Nolley picked up the game of basketball from his father, Landers Nolley Sr., who played college basketball for LSU. The Nolley Sr. averaged 10.7 points for the team in the 1994-95 season. Also, he shot 42% from the 3-point range that season, which still ranks eighth on the LSU single-season list.

As a kid, Nolley II used to play basketball with his mother and elder sister. As a matter of fact, he did not start playing with his father until the eighth grade when he started the sport seriously. After he came off the bench in the ninth grade, the father and son duo relocated to Chicago from Georgia so Nolley could have more playing time.
