High School, Recruiting, & College Career

Kerwin Walton enrolled at Hopkins High School in Minnetonka, Minn., a suburb of Minneapolis where he played basketball under Coach Ken Novak. 

As a senior, he was named to the Star Tribune’s All-Metro first team as a senior after leading the Royals to a 24-5 record and the 4-A section title.  Also, Hopkins was the state champion in 2019. He averaged 26 points and 11 rebounds as a senior at Hopkins High School.

On 25th December 2019, Kerwin Walton officially visits North Carolina Tar Heels and committed on 7th May 2020. 

In his debut for North Carolina Tar Heels against Charleston, Walton provided two assists.
