Juwan Morgan is a rising American professional basketball player. Juwan is currently playing in the NBA for the Utah Jazz since 2019. Juwan was part of Third-Team All-Bog Ten in 2019. Morgan plays as a Power Forward for his team. Morgan played in the NCAA division and the Big Ten Conference for Indiana Pacers. 

Juwan Morgan was born on April 17,1997, in Waynesville, Missouri. He is among the four children born to Darren Morgan and his wife, Jacquelyn Morgan. His father was an Army Drill Sergeant, and his mother also served in the United States Army. Morgan has three siblings, Jaren Morgan, Asia Morgan, and De'ANte Fields. He graduated from Waynesville High School and then enrolled at Indiana University. Morgan stands six feet and seven inches tall and weighs 105 kg(232 lb). 

Juwan Morgan's Journey to NBA 

Juwan grew up playing football as a wide receiver and quarterback. He was a star player for High School. Morgan earned Springfield News-Leader's postseason team and the American Family All-USA Ozarks honors. He ended his High School with a four-star recruit. After graduating from High School. Juwan verbally committed to play for Indiana University over Vanderbilt University and Creighton University. 

Morgan started in almost every game of the freshman year. He averaged 2.4 points and 2.1 rebounds per game as a freshman. For the sophomore year, He improved his averages to 7.7 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. At the end of the season, Morgan was forced to play many minutes at the center position as a junior due to a season-ending injury to De’Ron Davis. Juwan was named NBCSports.com National Player of the Week and Big Ten Conference Player of the Week.

In the junior year, Morgan averaged 16.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game as a junior. After the season, Morgan declared for the 2018 NBA draft but did not hire an agent and ultimately opted to return to school. As a senior year, Juwan received the “Off-season Champions” Award for his work in the conditioning program and was named to the Preseason All-Big Ten Team. After finishing his senior year, He listed his name for the 2019 NBA draft but was undrafted.

Utah Jazz named him to the mini-camp roster for the 2019 NBA Summer League. Morgan signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Jazz. He signed a two-way contract with Utah Jazz in 2019 and then resigned with the Jazz in 2020.
