Speedy Peruvian soccer player, Jefferson Agustín Farfán Guadalupe simply known as Jefferson Farfan who currently plays as forwarding/winger for National Team of Peru and Russian football club, FC Lokomotiv Moscow.
Farfan was the member of the Alianza Lima that won Peruvian League (2001, 2003, 2004).
Jefferson Farfan was born as Jefferson Agustín Farfán Guadalupe on October 26, 1984, in Lima, Peru. Regarding his nationality, he is a Peruvian.
He is the son of Luis Farfan and Rosario Guadalupe.

Jefferson Farfan began his career as a member of the Al.Lima U-19 before making his professional debut with the senior team of Alianza Lima. Following his youth career, he played for Deportivo Municipal and Alianza Lima. On January 1, 2002, he was promoted to a first-team of Alianza Lima with whom he signed in 2001.
Following his final season with the club, Farfan scored 14 goals, leading the club to another Peruvian championship. In 2004, he left the club after making 77 appearances scoring 28 goals.
Farfan was signed by Dutch football club, PSV Eindhoven after being scouted by Guus Hiddink with the transfer fee of €3.50 million. He played four-year with the club with whom he won Eredivisie (2004-2008) and KNVB Cup (2004-005).
He was transferred to the German side, FC Schalke 04 for €10 million on a four-year contract with whom he won DFB Pokal (2010-011).
In April 2012, Farfan renewed his contract with the team which keeps him until June 30, 2016. In 2015, he left the club, after scoring 39 goals in 170 appearances. He moved to UAE Persian Gulf League side, Al Jazira Club in 2015, for €7.00 million on a three-year contract where his annual salary is around €10 million.
Farfan left the club after a year since of dishonesty of his contract. Along with his team, he has been honored with 2015-016 UAE President’s Cup.
He is currently signed with Russian Premier League club, Lokomotiv Moscow on January 1, 2017, with whom he won 2016-017 Russian Cup. He has so far scored 10 goals in 23 appearances.
Farfan was a Peruvian youth international, having earned caps at under-17, under-18, under-20 and at the under-23 level.
Since 2003, he has been playing for the Peruvian National team that took part in World Cup qualification and Copa America. Following the 2006 World Cup qualifiers, he became the second top scorer with seven goals.
Farfan was suspended along with other teammates Santiago Acasiete, Andrés Mendoza, Claudio Pizarro for 18 months from the national team and later it was changed to three months with $10,000 fine after an investigation.
On March 23, 2013, he scored a winning goal against Chile in World Cup qualifiers. The winger was also the part of the team that went to claim bronze medal for Peru at 2015 Copa America along with Yoshimar Yotun.
Farfan is blessed with three children named Jeremy, Jefferson Adriano and Maialen Carrasco with his former wife. His then-wife Melissa Klug is a businesswoman and had been dating Farfan since 2004. The couple ended their 11 years romance in 2015.
Farfan then dated singer Yahaira Plasencia but broke up some months later. Melissa was reported to have an affair with her dancer Ítalo Valcárcel.
Farfan was also rumored to be in a relationship with Andrea Ferreyro back in 2016. However, he denied the rumors.
He has shared numerous pictures of his children on Instagram but hasn't revealed the information about his wife.
