Jake Livermore began his football career at the Academy of Tottenham Hotspur and made 36 appearances for the club. On 11 July 2008, he joined the Crewe Alexandra League One club on a six-month loan.

Livermore was also loaned to the Championship Club Ipswich Town on 23 September 2010 and eventually joined Leeds United.

Livermore signed a season-long loan with the Hul City for 2013- 14 season and eventually recorded his first Premier League and Hull goal in a 3- 1 home victory over English giant Liverpool. Later, he permanently joined the club in an undisclosed fee.

Later, Jake joined West Brom on a four-and-a-half-year deal on 20 January 2017. He made his debut in a 2–0 win against Sunderland at The Hawthorns the following day, coming off the bench in the place of James Morrison for the last 20 minutes of the match.

Livermore made his first senior appearance for England in a 2–1 victory against Italy on 15 August 2012 at the Stade de Suisse in Bern, where he replaced Frank Lampard in the 69th minute.

After almost five years away from international football, Gareth Southgate recalled Livermore to the England squad in March 2017 for a friendly match against Germany and a 2018 World Cup qualifier against Lithuania.

Currently, he is playing along with Ahmed Hegazi, Kieran Gibbs and many more.
