Golden State Warriors' Klay Thompson returns to the second quarter after leg injury at the Game 1 of the NBA finals Basketball

Golden State Warriors managed a 124-114 lead over Cleveland Cavaliers at the Game 1 of the NBA finals. The players had to give their best until the edge. With a leveled-score up to the fourth quarter, with a 10 points lead in the overtime, Warriors came at the top of the Game 1.

During the first quarter, Warriors' guard Klay Thompson suffered leg contusion after he accidentally fell over backward over Cavaliers' guard J. R. Smith.

Thompson had to the leave the game midway through the first quarter, but he returned for the second quarter. Thompson scored 24 points with 3 rebounds and 1 assists.

Following his injury in the first quarter, his return was questionable. But Thompson made it for the remaining quarters.
