He said he's retiring from his role as the play-by-play announcer for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, and this retirement will happen after the 2022 season ends. To fill his shoes, they've chosen Rod Black.

Now, while Suitor's retirement is a big deal, especially for the Roughriders and their fans because he's been their voice for more than 40 years, there's also some good news. Glen Suitor is not leaving football behind completely. He's going to be joining TSN as a football analyst, and this new gig will start in the fall of 2023. This move to TSN is seen as a positive thing for the Canadian Football League (CFL) because Suitor is a well-respected analyst, and his insights will be quite valuable for TSN's CFL coverage.
