Feleipe Franks is a rising American College Football player. He has been playing as a Quarterback for the University of Arkansas Men's Football team in the NCAA West Division. Franks completed his senior year in 2021 and is set to make his professional debut in the upcoming 2021 NFL draft.
Feleipe Franks was born on December 22, 1997, in Crawfordville, Florida. He is among the two children born to Don Franks and his wide, Ginger Franks. His father is serving in the US Military, and his mother is a longtime employee for Florida. Franks has an elder brother named Jordan Franks, an American football tight end for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League. Feleipe stands six feet and six inches tall and weighs 103 kg(228 lb).
Feleipe started playing American football from a very early age. He attended Wakulla High School, where he was part of his High School football team. The player finished High School with 6,867 yards and 81 touchdowns. Franks was regarded as a four-star recruit by the major recruiting services. He was rated as the fifth-highest ranked pro-style quarterback and 54th-highest-ranked prospect.
Franks did not play in his early games due to the rules. He made his start with a game against Michigan. The player led the team in passing with 1,438 yards, nine touchdowns, and eight interceptions. Franks was again named the starting quarterback ahead of the season's opening game for the sophomore year, fighting off competition from fellow redshirt sophomore Kyle Trask. He set a career-high with 284 passing yards to go along with two touchdowns and an interception against Vanderbilt.
Franks posted 2,457 passing yards, 24 passing touchdowns, six interceptions, and seven rushing touchdowns on the year. At the beginning of Junior year, He completed 17 of 27 passes for 254 yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions, and a rushing touchdown in a 24–20 win over Miami. Franks has carted off the field with an apparent leg injury late in the third quarter. In early 2020, Feleipe transferred to the University of Arkansas. He was named one of four team captains for the season and was called for the starting quarterback.

In June 2019, Feleipe listed his name for the 2019 MLB draft, and Boston Red Sox drafted him with the 947th overall pick (in the 31st round). He had played baseball in his High School but did not choose to continue coming to Florida. The player declined the offer and focused on football.
