High School

Elizabeth Balogun finished her seventh grade in Lagos, Nigeria, and then moved to Hamilton Heights High SchoolTennessee.

She averaged 15.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.7 blocks, and 2.1 assists. At the end of Highschool, she made the ALL-USA Girls Basketball First Team.

College

In 2018, she committed to Georgia Tech for her collegiate career.

As a freshman season, she was named the 2018-19 ACC freshman of the year. She averaged 14.64 points per game. 

After freshman season, she transferred to Louisville Cardinals.

As a sophomore at Louisville, Balogun was named preseason All-ACC by Coaches and Blue Ribbon Panel. Also, she was named into the Citizen Naismith Watch List.

International 

Nigerian National Women's Basketball team named Balogum to play in the 2019 pre-Olympic Qualifying tournament in Mozambique. However, she was not released by Louisville.

Balogun was further named to represent the D'Tigress in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Qualifiers in Belgrade.

Elizabeth Balogun is the daughter of Justina and Mark Balogun. She got involved in basketball at a tender age following her father's footsteps. 

Her father is a former basketball player who represented Nigeria for men’s basketball as well as played in the World University Games. Later, he coached the basketball team in Nigeria. Further, it was also reported that his father is a policeman as well. 

She has two siblings: an elder brother, Ezekiel who plays basketball at The Citadel in South Carolina, and a younger sister, Ruth, a sophomore on the Central Arkansas women’s basketball team.
