Donald Trump aims to Win Bid with Mexico and Canada for the 2026 World Cup Other

President Donald Trump wants the 2026 World Cup to be played in the United States, aims to win the bid with Mexico and Canada.

On Thursday, April 26, the 44th President of U.S.A took to Twitter to say countries pretty much better help the U.S. if they want the assistance to go both ways.

Trump tweeted it would be a shame for those countries to bid against the U.S., asking aloud why his country should support them if they aren't supporting the nation he leads.

The U.S. has put together a STRONG bid w/ Canada & Mexico for the 2026 World Cup. It would be a shame if countries that we always support were to lobby against the U.S. bid. Why should we be supporting these countries when they don’t support us (including at the United Nations)?

Trump has a history of sharing his rage on social media, so it's no wonder he took to Twitter on this issue too. Trump being the most powerful individual in the world, this might even be possible for the country to land the World Cup especially financially. However, the country is still facing competition with Morocco.

The bitting by FIFA member nations for the World Cup will start on June 13.
