Motum went to Utah Jazz for the 2014 season where he averaged 8.0 points and 4.6 rebounds over the five games that he played in the Summer Leagues. on 26 August 2014, he signed a non-guaranteed contract with the Utah Jazz. He was waived by the Jazz on 25 October 2014.
Brock Motum signed a condition two-year deal with Adelaide 36ers of the National Basketball League on 3 November 2014. During his time at the 36ers, he made strong performances during the game with team members Luke Schenscher and Daniel Johnson. For the 2014 season with Adelaide 36ers, he played in 24 games averaging 17.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.
