Houston Astros are crowned the 2022 World Series Championship title. The Astros had an easy win defeating the Philadelphia Phillies 4-1 in Game 6 at Minute Maid Park. This is the second title win for the club since 2013, but it is the first time a team claimed the title on its home field. The 2017 title was filled with a lot of questions and controversy.

Astros pitchers had a decent run by trading zeros through the first five innings. Although, The Phillies started in the top of the sixth inning with a Kyle Schwarber solo home run off Framber Valdez did the damage finishing with nine strikeouts and only allowing two hits and a run.
Baker finally got his first title in his 25th season as a manager and is the oldest coach to win the title. Astros closer Ryan Pressly came in to close out the game and make sure the home crowd in Houston went home celebrating a World Series victory.
