Anthony Vincent Rizzo, a.k.a. Anthony Rizzo is a professional baseball player currently playing as a first baseman for MLB's Chicago Cubs. He is engaged to his girlfriend Emily Vakos and is on the verge of getting married very soon. The 28-year-old who was selected in the sixth round of 2007 MLB draft by Boston Red Sox was previously in a relationship with Chelsea Smith, but things have changed drastically since then.

Anthony and Emily got married to each other in late December 2018. The longtime couple got married in Florida in an appearance of family, relatives, and friends including David Ross, Kris Bryant, and Dexter Fowler. They were engaged in June 2017.

Rizzo tweeted Sunday along with a photo of the couple from their wedding day.
In December 2017, Rizzo shook the internet by faking his wedding. He and his beau were at a bridal party at the time, and he decided to have some fun with the situation.
He uploaded a picture of himself, and Vakos close together on Instagram, and it almost looked like it was a wedding picture. He faked his wedding and blew the internet up.
Nonetheless, he is notoriously known to make these kinds of jokes and people finally came to realize that it was not real. As of now, the pair is all set to get married anytime soon, but they have not revealed that time and date yet.

Rizzo is currently engaged to his beau Emily Vakos who is a real estate broker, like JaVale McGee's girlfriend Giselle Ramirez, in Chicago. Moreover, she is also a nutritionist.
The pair met back in 2016 during the Subs spring training where Vakos was working as an intern on the Cub's nutrition team, and the initial phase of their meet is not as magical.
When Rizzo first asked her for her numbers, she gave him a fake one and things did not go as planned. However, they soon started dating and still their love life was not so serious.
After almost a year of dating, on 1st June 2017, Rizzo proposed his girlfriend with a massive surprise. The proposal included fireworks and a photo shoot on a boat.
During an interview, future Mrs. Rizzo shared that she had no idea about it and thought that they were doing a photo shoot in the boat and even when he pulled out a ring and proposed her, she felt that it was a prank.

She said yes, and both of them made sure to upload the pictures of the magical event on their socials.
After the proposal, the pair have gotten even closer as they have been spotted together on numerous occasions. They were together at the Grammys and also went on a getaway to Thailand.
They can be considered as the ultimate couple goals as they are together almost all the time and love to share the adorable time they spend together on their socials.
