Lastly, he signed with the Seattle Seahawks at the beginning of 2017, where he earned the annual salary of $1 million. And back in December 2017, he announced his retirement.

With his career earnings including his $360,000 endorsements and bonuses, he earned more than $30 million in the play of 11 seasons.

The 10,000 sq. ft mansion, with seven full baths, three half baths, hardwood and natural stone floors, four fireplaces, high ceilings, crown moldings, a kitchen with cherry and granite finishes and Viking, was built in 2005.

Hester bought the property paying $2.2 million and sold it in $1.9 million with $625,000 cuts in the market price.

Devin Hester Retires after his 11 years Career

Devin after his high school played for the Miami Hurricanes while in the University of Miami, later after his 2006 NFL Draft, got selected by the Chicago Bears and continued his play as a cornerback and then as a return specialist.

After his 6-year contract with Bears was over, he signed with Atlanta Falcons on March 20, 2014. During his time in Bears, Hester played in the Pro Bowl for 3 times in 2006, 2007 and 2010 and his fourth Pro Bowl for Falcons in 2014.

In his last season with Bears, Hester broke the team record for most kickoff return yards in a game with 249 and 81 yards for a touchdown for his 19th career return touchdown, tying Deion Sanders'.
