William Troost-Ekong is a Nigerian international football player who currently plays as a center back for Nigeria national football team and professional Turkish club Bursaspor. On June 23, 2013, Ekong made a free transferred to FC Groningen. He was then loaned to FC Dorecht for the 2014-2015 season where he played 34 matches until June 30, 2014.
On July 27, 2015, Ekong was transferred to KAA Gent from FC Groningen on a free transfer while his market value was €300K. He then immediately loaned to FK Haugesund for the 2015-16 season and made his debut against Viking FK.
