Senegal Vs Colombia: James Rodriguez switched with Luis Muriel in 31st Minute; How will Colombia cope James' absence Soccer

A heart-wrecking moment for the Colombian star player James Rodriguez. The 2014 FIFA World Cup's top scorer was sent-off the field in the 31st minute against Senegal. He was substituted with Luis Muriel.

This is a sad sequel to James spectacular show in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. On this day, June 28 four years ago, he scored one of the wonderful goals of the tournament in Brazil against Uruguay.

Following a world-class showdown in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, James has his spot in the top players to watch in the 2018 FIFA World Cup, but all of it has just been a talk show till now. James has failed to score in two of his appearances against Poland and Japan, and the same is for his third game against Senegal. So far, James only has two assists to his name from the 3-0 victory over Poland.

Having sent-off its star player is obviously a drawback for the Colombian side and what amazes the most is, what brings Jose Pekerman to believe Luiz might fill in for James?

The Sevilla's striker has been a show not to miss in 2017, scoring 7 goals for the club in 29 appearances. Its Luis' first play in the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Will he manage to make a mark against Senegal?
