Despite failing to score one in the finals, Ronaldo stood as the highest scorer in the league with 15- 5 more than the second-placed joint scorers, Liverpool attacking trio Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, and Roberto Firmino.
"Who was the top scorer once again?", he replied when a reporter asked about if he was disappointed not to get on the scoresheet. Ronaldo further told:
"The Champions League should change and be called the CR7 Champions League. I have won five and I am the goalscorer again, so I cannot be sad."
Ronaldo also hinted about his exit from Real Madrid while the two goal-scorer of the finals, Gareth Bale also doubts on his stay. Reports claim that he could make his move to Manchester United as they desperately want to sign him.
