Pejman Montazeri’s Career

Following his youth career, Pejman Montazeri played for Foolad for three years.

Montazeri was then promoted to a senior team of Foolad on July 1, 2004, with whom he won the Oran Pro League in 2004-05. He also represented his team at 2006 AFC Champions League Cup Group Stage and scored 6 goals in 81 appearances until 2007.

On July 1, 2006, Montazeri was transferred to Esteghlal FC. He became the starter for the team in his first two seasons where he helped to win the Iran Pro League and Hazfi Cup.

Before leaving the club, Montazeri played 209 games and scored 10 goals until 2014.

In January 2014, Montazeri was transferred to Umm Salal with the transfer fee of €1.10million. He played with the team until 2015 and scored 2 goals in 39 matches.

Pejman Montazeri signed a two-year deal with Qatari club, AL Ahli while his market value was estimated at €1.20 million. During his two-year with the club, he scored 1 goal in 31 appearances.

On July 1, 2017, Montazeri joined his former club, Esteghlal FC on a free transfer and took the Number 33 Jersey. So far, he has scored 1 goal in 11 appearances.
