Ferraro works as a TSN Game Analyst and NHL Studio Analyst. During the Winter Olympics 2010, Ferraro provided color commentary and analysis to CTV. Ferraro became the lead game analyst after Pierre McGuire left TSN for NBC / Versus.

On 5 May 2014, EA Sports announced that Ferraro, along with play-by-play commentator Mike "Doc" Emrick and color commentator Ed "Eddie" Olczyk, would be an ice level analyst for NHL 15. In February 2018, Ferraro and Chris Cuthbert made the play-by-play announcements for men's ice hockey at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.
