Mohammad Rashid Mazaheri, a.k.a Mohammad Mazaheri is an Iranian international footballer who plays for Zob Ahan as a goalkeeper, wearing the shirt No. 12. Since 2016, Mazaheri is in the Iran national team and has been capped thrice.

Mazaheri has also been included in the Iran 23-man squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Foolad

On 1^st July 2011, Mazaheri moved to Foolad. In his three-season career with Foolad, he played just three matches.

Zob Ahan

In the mid of 2013-14 season, Mazaheri signed for Zob Ahan, mainly featuring as a reserve. In the 2014-15 season, he earned his starting place as well as won the Hazfi Cup. Further, he led his team to the 16^th round of the 2016 AFC Champions League as the first placed team in their group.

Mohammad Rashid Mazaheri's International Career

Mazaheri began his career with Iran national team, playing for the Under-20 team, in 2010. Also, he was a part of the Iran Under-23 and has participated in the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China.

In May 2018, he was named in Iran’s squad along with his teammates Rouzbeh Cheshmi, Mehdi Torabi,  Karim Ansarifard For the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
