He was introduced to Muay Thai by his older who goes by the name, Anthony when he was only 10 years old.
Chidi began to take Mulay Thai seriously at the age of 11 and later took on Mixed Martial arts career at the age of 18.

After winning a couple of matches, he suffered his first Bellator MMA loss against Andrey Koreshov during the Bellator 182 that took place on August 25, 2017.
He lost the bout via TKO at the first round of the match. Currently, he transited into Middleweight category and took on Hisashi Kato at the Bellator 189 that took place on December 1, 2017.
Chidi won the bout through an animous decision.
