Omar Gaber is a professional footballer form Egypt who currently plays as right-back and midfielder for National Team of Egypt and MLS side Los Angeles FC on a loan from Swiss football club, FC Basel. The 29-years-old footballer played for Zamalek.

Omar Gaber began his football career as a member of an Egyptian sports club, Zamalek SC in 1997. In 2010, he was promoted to a first-team of Zamalek. In 2016, he left the club after scoring 10 goals in 117 appearances.

Gaber was transferred to FC Basel with a four-year contract on July 1, 2016, with the transfer fee of €1.65 million, with whom he won Swiss Super League and Swiss Cup in 2016-017.
