Here is the Tweet from currently suspended Ohio State's Coach:
— Urban Meyer (@OSUCoachMeyer) August 3, 2018
Looks like a simple online apology and an official statement wasn't enough for the commission, as they wanted to take a strong action which will help prevent these things in the coming future.
Result: he was suspended from three starting games from the Commission. Meyer who signed a $7 million worth coaching deal with the university for five years during these three games would be deprived of salary and game bonuses too.
This surely will have a huge negative impact on Meyer's career, given the fact that the coach wasn't taking the whole things seriously till the school's Board of Trustees appointed an independent panel to oversee the whole situation taking two-weeks time for investigation of Meyer and what he knew about domestic abuse allegations against former wide receivers coach Zach Smith.
People were already pointing fingers at his actions, but the way he took on the situation and proved that it was just a situation that he got into, and couldn't react in a way he was supposed to explain that he is ready to take on the heat of the situation and is willing to correct his mistakes.
I didn't think it was possible to give a more conceited, self-absorbed non-apology than "I'm sorry if anyone took offense", but Urban Meyer once again shows us the way. https://t.co/4plEh27ZLr

As he is not the only one that was tangled in the situation, it was really brave of him to take its sole responsibility and get his co-workers out of the situation. Lately, all the reaction he is getting from Twitter users still shows that they are not happy with the three days suspension.

ESPN's writer Arash Markazi pointed Meyer's power of judgment and twitted
