The world divides exactly into two halves when the debate on the greatness between Portuguese and Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentine and Barcelona ace Lionel Messi comes up. They are the two greatest players of this generation but nobody has yet given a decent reason about who comes on the top.
The two stars have not let anyone win the Balon d'Or for the last 10 years, both sharing five times. Their performance can even not be separated on the basis of their goals and individual as well as team accolades. They both have won 4 Champions League titles and 4 golden shoes.
The most expensive football player, Neymar, who is believed to replace the two stars, has finally entered in the world's best debate. The former team-mate of Messi, who joined the French giants in 2017 summer transfer, didn't seem to talk about him, instead praised Ronaldo.

Talking to Mirror, the PSG and Brazilian forward said,"I respect him [Ronaldo] a lot for the history he has made. He is the benchmark for someone like me. He has spent the last ten years at the top, like Messi, and we all aspire to be as good as them."
"That said, there are many great players at Real Madrid and we must not only focus on Cristiano. I came to make history in Paris but the rumors about me wanting to leave will always be there. I'm happy, I'm calm but there is nothing I can say that will dispel the rumors.", Neymar continued.
