Myisha Hines-Allen was born on May 30, 1996, in Montclair, New Jersey. She's been a WNBA and New York Liberty fan since she was a kid. She went to Montclair High School, where she played varsity sports and served as captain twice during her four years there. The star guided them to three straight Essex County crowns and two at the state level in Group IV under her direction.

As a senior, she led her team in scoring at 20.1, pulling down 10.2 boards, dishing out 3.2 assists, stealing 2.9, and blocking 1.8 shots a game. After four years of high school, she graduated with 2,047 points and 1,069 boards.

College Career at Louisville

Hines-Allen spent four successful years as a player at the University of Louisville. She averaged 17.6 points and 8.4 rebounds per game as a sophomore in 2016, making her the first player in program history to be named ACC Player of the Year.

The athlete also had the highest percentage from the field (.547) and the most double-doubles (16) in the league. She received an honorable mention for All-America by the WBCA and All-ACC First Team accolades.

The Cardinals advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament thanks to her 13.9 points and 9.3 rebound average as a junior. She made the ACC Tournament First Team and the All-ACC Second Team. Louisville earned its first-ever No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament thanks to her efforts as a senior when she scored 14 points per game and grabbed 9.6 rebounds.

In addition, she became only the second player in school history to score over 2,000 points and grab over 1,000 rebounds while also being chosen to the All-ACC First Team for the second time. At Louisville3, she established herself as the all-time leader in both double-doubles (45) and field goals (802).

Professional Career with Washington Mystics

As of yet, Jordan Horston has not made an appearance for the Washington Mystics. They picked her up in the 2023 WNBA Draft, and she spent her first year with the Seattle Storm. After averaging 6.9 points, 5.1 boards, 1.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per game, she was chosen to the 2023 All-Rookie Team. She was also instrumental in the Storm's playoff run, which ended in the first round with a loss to the Mystics.

In addition, she was sidelined for the entirety of the 2024 season after tearing his ACL in the series' last game. In return for Ariel Atkins, who extended her contract with the Mystics in August 2023, she was traded to the team in February 2025.

Horston will make her Mystics debut in the 2025 season after she has fully recovered from her injuries. She'll wear No. 23 for the Mystics and play with 2023 WNBA Rookie of the Year Aliyah Boston.
