Malik Osborne is an American college basketball player for Florida State Seminoles (#10 Forward). As per the current NBA status, the 6'9", 225 lbs will be eligible for the 2022 NBA Draft.
Matteson, Illinois native, Malik Osborne was born April 9, 1998, under the star sign Aries. The twenty-three years old holds an American nationality and is of Afro-American ethnic background. He is the son of Tina a former track athelete at Lewis college and James Osborne, who played football at Iowa State.
Graduated from Rich South High School in Illinois in 2016. As a senior, Osborne averaged 10.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.6 blocked shots as a member of the varsity team.
After that, Osborne attended the Bosco Institute in Indiana in 2017. There he averaged 14.0 points and 9.0 rebounds while shooting .510 from the field in his only season and Bosco to the Mid-American Prep Championship in 2017.
He then attended Rice University where he averaged a career-high 9.0 points (fourth on the team), a career-high 6.5 rebounds (second), a career-high 0.8 blocked shots (first), and a career-high-tying 0.6 steals (third), while shooting .414 from the field as a freshman.
After a season, Malik transferred to Florida State University. As a redshirt freshman for Florida State Seminoles men's basketball team, he practiced with the Seminoles throughout the season as he prepared himself to play for Florida State during the 2019-20 season.
In 2020, Osborne averaged 6.0 points (fifth on the team), 4.9 rebounds (second), 0.7 blocked shots (third), and a career-high-tying 0.6 steal (seventh) in playing in each of Florida State’s 31 games as a redshirt sophomore.
The following season, he averaged 5.9 points (sixth on the team), 4.5 rebounds (tied for fourth), 0.3 blocked shots (fifth), and a career-high-tying 0.6 steal (fifth) as he played in 24 of the Seminoles’ 25 games in 2021.
