Macnelly Torres is a professional footballer from Colombia who currently plays as attacking midfielder for National Team of Colombia and professional football team, Atlético Nacional.

Macnelly Torres began his career as a member of the Junior FC U-20. On January 1, 2002, he was promoted to a first-team of Junior FC. Later, he left the club after scoring 6 goals in 79 appearances.

Torres was signed by Cucuta on July 1, 2005, with whom he won 2006 Torneo Finalizacion. Before leaving the club in 2008, he scored 11 goals in 84 appearances.

Torres then signed with Chilean Club, Colo-Colo after Argentine player, Jesus Datolo failed to sign. He completed his move on July 1, 2008, with the transfer fee of £1.40million, became the most expensive transaction in the Chilean football.
