Liz Carmouche started her professional career in 2010. She won her first three fights via knockout. On August 13, 2010, she made her debut at Strikeforce. In her first fight, she defeated Colleen Schneider via unanimous decisions.

On July 22, 2011, she faced against Sarah Kaufman and lost the fight by unanimous decision. Later on, she faced Ashleigh Curry at Invicta Fighting Championships.
