South Korean professional footballer Lee Jae-sung plays as the midfielder for Jeonbuk Hyundai and South Korea national football team. He was named in South Korean's 23-man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. Lee Jae-sung is currently managed by Relatives.

Career

In 2011, Lee Jae-sung began his football career as a youth member at Korea University where he remained for three-year. Following that, he began his senior career joining Jeonbuk Hyundai in 2014 where he was awarded 2014, 2015, 2016 K League 1 Champions and 2016 AFC Champions League along with his team.

Jae-sung made his debut against Yokohama F. Marinos on 26 February 2014, during the 2014 AFC Champions League. He has so far played 120 games scoring 22 goals.

Lee Jae-sung was awarded K League Best XI (2015, 2016, 2017), 2015  K League Young Player of the Year, 2017 K League Most Valuable Player, and 2017 EAFF East Asian Cup Most Valuable Player.

International Career

After playing for South Korea in their U 23, Jae-sung was initially called by the South Korea national team and made is debut in a 1-0 win against New Zealand when he was just 22.

Jae-sung was named in South Korea's 23-man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup to be in Russia along with Oh Ban suk, Kim Shin-wook, and Ju Se-Jong.

After losing their two matches against Sweden and Mexico, they will play against Germany on 27th June 2018, where the winning probability of German team is 82% while South Korea probability is only 6%. As of now, two of the three games between these two warriors have been at World Cup finals, with Germans winning both contests (1994,2002). His team only got a victory against Germany in 2004 via 3-1 in a friendly match.
