Early Life of Layvin Kurzawa

Layvin Kurzawa was born on September 4, 1992, in Frejus, France. His father is a Guadeloupean while his mother is of Polish descent. He has a brother named Yrleas Teoro Kurzawa.

Early Career

At the age of four, Layvin Kurzawa came into the field of football through the youth team of Stade Raphelois in 1996. He then played for youth club of Aix-en-Provence and Monaco.

Senior Career

After being promoted from the youth club of Monaco, Layvin Kurzawa then began his professional career with Monaco B and made his professional debut for the club on September 22, 2010, in a Coupe de la Ligue against Lens at the Stade Louis II.

For the team, Layvin Kurzawa scored 5 goals in 30 appearances. He was also included in the Monaco squad several times since 2010 and scored six goals in 75 games. Further, he left the club in 2015 after spending six seasons. He was a member of the team that won Ligue 2 (2012-2013).

Paris Saint-Germain

Layvin Kurzawa then signed a five-year contract with Paris Saint Germain, with the transfer fee of €25 million on August 27, 2015. His first match came in 11, September against Bordeaux at the Parc des Princes.

Kurzawa then scored his first goal over Saint-Etienne on 25 October. As of now, he has scored 6 goals in 40 appearances for the team. He also won the Ligue 1(2015-16), Coupe de France (2015-2017), Coupe de la Ligue (2015-2017) and Trophee des Championship (2016,2017).

International Career

Layvin Kurzawa has represented his team France in U-19, U-20, and U-21 tournaments. After four years in a junior team, he was called up to his senior team in 2014 and made his full international debut against Albania as a backup player for Lucas Digne.
