Lauren Thompson was born on July 29, 1982, in Winter Park, Florida. She grew up in Orlando and spent early days of her career modeling, working as a spokesmodel and doing voice-overs.
Brooke completed her college education from the University of Central Florida. She joined Total Nonstop Wrestling in 2007 for the role of a backstage interviewer along with Jeremy Borash for TNA's television program TNA Impact. She worked for TNA till 2009.
During her time with TNA, she got involved in some issues as well. Members of a group named The Beautiful People used to provoke her during interviews. During her time in TNA, she had also interviewed wrestler Abyss several times.
