Kaiir Elam was born on May 5, 2001, in Riviera Beach, Florida. He is the son of Abram Elam and his wife, Shayla Davis. Kaiir started in all twelve games for the sophomore season. He finished the season with 39 tackles (28 solos), 1.0 tackles-for-loss, two interceptions, 11 pass breakups and one fumble recovery. Elam was named the Coaches All-SEC First Team and the Associated Press All-SEC Second Team. In the junior season, The player started as a cornerback in nine games and recorded three solo tackles in Florida’s season-opening game against Florida Atlantic.
Elam finished his junior year on a high note and has decided to forgo his senior year at the University of Florida and list his name for the upcoming 2022 NFL draft. He is ranked among the top prospect in the upcoming draft, and Kenyon Green and Andrew Booth.
