SYNOPSIS
Jayson Anthony Paul is a professional wrestler and author, born on December 10, 1984. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, United States. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California, United States. He is American by nationality and belongs to the black ethnic background. He is better known by his ring name JTG while working in WWE. He has played many successful games throughout his career in WWE. He is one of the members of the team named Cryme Tyme.
EARLY LIFE AND CAREER
Paul attended John Dewey High School and graduated there. He made his debut career, working in the World Wrestling Entertainment's developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling under the ring name The Neighbourhoodie. He teamed with Shad Gaspard calling them "The Gang-Stars" and won OVW Southern Tag Team Championship.
The tag team was promoted to the Raw brand under the ring name JTG forming the group named "Cryme Tyme" in 2006. They made their debut performance on Raw in a match against World Tag Team Champions, The Spirit Squad and had a victory over them in a non-title match on October 16, 2006. They played various other matches during their time in Raw and played some of the matches on SmackDown.
They also wrestled at the Jersey All Pro Wrestling on their 10th Anniversary Show on October 27, 2007, as Crime Time and defeated The Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz. Paul appeared in Derby City Wrestling at the end of the year.
Cryme Tyme returned to Raw on March 31, 2008, and had a victory in a match against Lance Cade and Trevor Mudorch. The teams attempted to win the World Tag Team Champion in a match against John Morrison and The Miz but were unsuccessful. They moved to the SmackDown brand as part of the 2009 supplementary draft and won Unified WWE Tag Team Championship in a match against Chris Jericho and Big Show.
PERSONAL LIFE AND AFFAIRS
Paul has made his fan following even broader by his performances in WWE. He has reached the age of 32 now. Wrestling has been his hobby from his childhood, which is the reason behind his successful career. Besides his wrestling career, he has starred as Knuckles in the 2015 film Bad Night. His finishing moves include Spinning sit out sleeper slam and his signature moves include Belly to back suplex, Box cutter, Diving leg lariat, Double swinging neck breaker, Dropkick, Inverted double leg slam, Mugshot, and Neck snap.
