John-Blair Bickerstaff a.k.a. J. B. Bickerstaff is an American professional basketball coach currently standing as the head coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Earlier. he served as the head coach for the Memphis Grizzlies as well as an assistant coach for several other NBA franchises.
Denver, Colorado native, Bickerstaff was born on 10th March 1979, under the star sign Pisces. The forty-years-old holds an American nationality and is of Afro-American ethnic background. He stands 6 ft 6 in (1.98 m) tall. A former collegiate basketball player, Bickerstaff played his first two seasons at Oregon State and finished his career at the University of Minnesota.

Reportadely, J.B Bickerstaff and Nikki Bickerstaff met each other for the first time through their mutual friend, Richard Jefferson. Soon they started dating. In 2011, they tied the knot in a private ceremony.

Bickerstaff began his coaching career as an assiastant coach at the Charlotte Bobcats. In 2007, she joined the Minnesota Timberwolves as an assistant where he spent four (2007–2011) seasons.
On 15th July 2011, Bickerstaff was appointed by the Rockets as an assistant. On 18th November 2015, he was made interim head coach of the Rockets after Kevin McHale was fired. That same day, he made his coaching debut n a 108-103 overtime win agianst the Portland Trail Blazers.
Following that season, his tenture with the Houston Rockets ended. On 8th June 2016, Bickerstaff was named the assosciate head coach by the Memphis Grizzlies.
On 27th November 2017, the Grizzlies was promoted to the interim head coach. On 1st May 2018, he became the head coach of the Grizzlies. On 1st April 2019, he was fired by the Grizzlies after the team failed to reach the playoffs.
On 19th May 2019, Bickerstaff was appointed the assuastant and associate head coach by the Cleveland Cavaliers. After head coach John Beilein resigned as head coach on 19th Feburary 2020, Bickerstaff was named the new head coach.
