After completing high school, Little got a sports scholarship at the San Diego State University and became a graduate of Sports Journalism in 2001. While at college, she broadcasted Supercross racing, later she pursued a career in motorsports reporting. 

Jamie Little Professional Career 

Jamie Little started her professional journalism career as a sideline reporter with ABC Sports in 1996. She worked as a one-man band; camera, reporting and broadcasting for two years before she was promoted to news anchor.

Later, she quit ABC Sports and started working for ESPN in 1998, as a sideline reporter. She almost featured all major sports tournament including the Indy Racing LeagueSummer/Winter Extreme Sports events. Later, she went international to cover Canadian hockey and football leagues.

Her major coverage includes the Indianapolis 500, Firestone 550, and NASCAR on ESPN, especially between 2007-2008. She became the first female pit reporter covering for TV at the Indianapolis 500 in 2004.

She established her image as a pit reporter for extreme sports after she had covered events like X-Games and Motor Sports; which was featured on her show Moto World. Jamie even participated in the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race in 2008 and won the event beating the reigning champion Mike Skinner by 0.32 seconds.

In September 2014, she announced her movement to FOX Sports Channel where she worked as a NASCAR pit reporter and covered some big events like Xfinity Series as well as Sprint Cup Series.
