Jack Luca Hinshelwood was born in Worthing, England on April 11, 2005. He is an English professional footballer who plays midfielder for Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League.

He initiated his football at seven years old when he joined the youth academy at Brighton & Hove Albion. His commitment to talent in football saw him through the ranks very fast, starting to sign him for his first full appearance for the under-18 team in March 2021.

Hinshelwood made his full professional debut for Brighton on 28 May 2023, in a substitute appearance against Aston Villa. His skills were good enough to merit more playing time. He scored his first professional goal on 6 December 2023 in a match against Brentford. In recognition of his growing potential, he signed a deal in April 2023 that kept him at Brighton until 2026.
Further strong performances subsequently rewarded him with a further extension in April 2024, committing to the club until June 2028.
On the international scene, Hinshelwood has featured for England in their various youth teams. He made his debut for the England U18 in 2023 and continued to impress selectors as he was called up to the England U19s.

As of September 23, 2024, Hinshelwood has been very instrumental in Brighton's first team. During the 2022–23 season, he appeared in just one league match without goals scored.
