Omar Marmoush, born Omar Khaled Mohamed Abd Elsala Marmoush, was born on February 7th, 1999 in Cairo, Egypt. He is both Egyptian and Canadian, adding to his mixed background. Right from a young age, he showed an interest in football and joined his career with the sport, which has gone well both domestically and on the international scene.
Marmoush started his football career with Wadi Degla SC, joining their youth ranks. He started his professional career in the Egyptian Premier League on 8th July 2016.

During his time with Wadi Degla, he played a total of 16 games and scored two goals, which won him the attention of scouts in Europe.

He transferred to VfL Wolfsburg in 2017 and for the first time, played in the reserve team. On May 26, 2020, he made his first appearance in the League match against Bayer Leverkusen.
