Germaine de Randamie started her pro career in 2008. She made her debut at Revolution Fight Club 2. She was defeated in the first game by Vanessa Porto via armbar submission in the first round. Her first win was against the Nikohl Johnson by unanimous decision at Playboy Fight Night 5.

On January 29, 2011, she made her debut at Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Cyborg. She was extraordinary in her debut game. She defeated Stephanie Webber via knockout in the first round. On August 18, 2012, she defeated Hiroko Yamanaka at Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman. She won the fight via undisputed decision.

In mid-2013, she would be fighting for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Her fight was against Julie Kedzie at UFC on Fox 8. She won the fight via split decision.
