George Tawlon Manneh Oppong Ousman Weah or famously known as George Weah is retired Liberian Striker. He has played for several prominent clubs such as AC Milan, Chelsea FC, and Manchester City. George Weah was born on 1st October 1966 to mother, Anna Quayeweah, and father, Willian T Weah in Monrovia in Liberia. He holds a Liberian nationality and belongs to Kru ethnic group.
Weah's father was a mechanic and mother, a seller. He was one of the thirteen children of his parents and was raised by his grandmother after the divorce of his parents.

Before he was the professional football player he was Switchboard technician.
Weah started his playing career with the youth teams of Young Survivors Claratown and Clara town. He began his senior playing stint with for clubs such as Mighty Barolle, Africa Sports etc.
His impressive play caught the eye of famous football manager, Arsene Wenger who signed with the AS Monaco club in 1988
After a successful stint with AS Monaco, he signed with Paris Saint Germain in 1992 and was the part of the team that went on to win the French league title in 1994. He, later on, moved to Italy and signed with famous Italian Serie A club, AC Milan in 1995. And as part of the team that won the Italian league in 1995.
